I have to clean my room
can't play my music loud
I may not sleep till noon
no weekdays-going out

I have to nod politely
when some idiot talks
critisize just slightly
the most ignorant folks

I have to pay the bills
to fill my basic needs
the doc will give me pills
when my protest exceeds

I have to work for a living
to have some insufficient means
and nobody's giving
a damn bout happiness it seems

you can't have female friends

after ten years divorce
