sometimes my life fees like a swimming pool
on a dry hot summer day
sometimes my life feels like an icy lake
in a hidden forest vale

what will I do? who will I meet?
what should I buy? where will I eat?

sometimes my life feels like I'm dragging my feet
on a long and winding road
sometimes my life feels like a tower
behind castle walls and moat

when will it end? where should I flee?
what is the point? who should I be?

and then I rise up to the sky
my golden wings spread out and fly

sometimes I wake and find I'm falling down
headlong to the ground
sometimes I crash into the dust and my self
is shattered all around

how can I rise? how can I stand?
how can I survive until the end?
