there was a time when I was playing alone 
every night in front of the screen
there was a time when I would stand in a corner
hoping that I would be seen

my lack of confidence was holding me back
in finding a partner for games
I was admiring girls from afar
drawing hearts 'round their names

those times are over since I have met you
and now you are a part of my life
everyday we are playing this game
of loving husband and wife
